We are excited to release the AfroSport Summit 2024 Review Report – a comprehensive document capturing the key highlights, engaging discussions, and actionable insights from this year’s event. This report marks a significant milestone in our journey, as it is the first post-event report since the summit’s inception in 2022.
The AfroSport Summit 2024, held from 17th – 18th July, 2024 at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra, brought together participants from 13 countries across Africa and beyond. Participants included thought leaders, industry experts, and professionals from across the sports ecosystem. The event was a vibrant platform for thought-provoking discussions on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in sports development across Africa.
From panels on Sports Retail and Licensing and Match-fixing and Manipulation in Sports to in-depth sessions on Fan Engagement and Media Strategies, this year’s summit provided valuable perspectives to shape the future of sports in Africa. Additionally, our maiden call for abstracts and subsequent Research Presentations session introduced a new level of depth, ensuring data-driven and forward-thinking contributions to the conversations.
